Last year, I have participate in Blog Action Day 07 as one of the lists. My site was listed among the others bloggers around the world. This year, once again, I have registered myself for the campaign initialed online.
What is Blog Action Day 08 all about
It is an annual nonprofit event that aims to unite the world’s bloggers, podcasters and videocasters, to post about the same issue on the same day. Their aim is to raise awareness and trigger a global discussion. Cool, right?
They are using the methodologies on one issues a thousand voice to outreach all across the world to help and stop poverty.
What about 2007
Last year the theme was related to “The Environment”. The results were staggering:

23,327 Blog Posts (Google Blog Search)
14,631,038 RSS Readers

19 of Technorati’s Top 100 blogs participated, including:Boing Boing, LifeHacker, Mashable, Daily Kos, Problogger, Treehugger, Official Google Blog, Read/Write/Web, GigaOm, DoshDosh, LifeHack.org, CopyBlogger, The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW), Valleywag, Telegraph Blogs, ZenHabits, Explore Vox, Download Squad, and Pronet Advertising
Up to date for this year event the statistic currently registered to participate: 5,770 Sites with an audience in excess of 10,076,661 Readers. Imagine the massive knowledge is being mobilised just on a single topic: Poverty.
