I can’t image that! I just about to finish and complete a discussion paper on the User Interaction Issues on Wikipedia and now I have to start another review paper on Collaboration tools on Wikipedia. Please give me some air to breadth. I spend my Chinese New Years, trying to crack my brains to writing the discussion paper.
Anyway, this review paper, I guess I will be writing it alone as it is only a four to five paper paper. Maybe, I will took as two case studies both from open sources for a software production house to employ such practice. Before, it slips off my mind, this paper have to be written from the perspective of the information management.
Which are the two case studies?
- Gallery Development Documents:
http://codex.gallery2.org/Development - Documentation of phpMyVisites:

Both of these two sites began off as a home based (student) project. Today, these two project have stretched out in the information industry due to it unique architecture that build in the project’s concept. Collaboration has taken place, information has been exchanged. Today, they become one of the powerful arising from no man island.
How do they do it? You have to ask them.
I am only going to cover how the collaboration have taken place using another tool, called Wikis and how web developer (especially the open source industry) have taken this as an advantage. This paper will give an idea for corporate organisation to adopted such system for their organisation to evolve and learn.

The main idea of installing this system is as test bed (playground) for me to implement library 2.0 into any library service. Frankly, which I believe, the library can fully utilise these two software free for the daily operation. They are widely supported by the opensource community. All the library need to do, hired a digital resource librarian or an IT background staffs, who know about the element of web development (such as php, html, javascript, xml and asp.net). That will do the join to migrate you library up to library 2.0.
I have upload a couple of plugins on this site for user to share and collaborate my ideas. Just that I have not yet activate the plugins yet.
One pertinent reason that I am creating this site, it is due to document officially all the projects that I have done and implement. At the same time, this site will be a development blog that will follow my entire journey. It does not matter which organization or person, that I will be creating a project with and for, entries will be made in here. Therefore, do come back for more project sharing experience.
